Insider info
vs Zak Cummings coinflip UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs. Allen · April 11, 2023
strikingdecent
grapplingdecent
Coinflip. The side is named only so that a pick exists: he says his certainty is about as close to nil as it can get, begs viewers to keep money off the bout (twice), and admits he would rather choose Herman. Nothing in the chapter argues for Cummings beyond a bare preference.
A late-career pairing the analyst finds close to impossible to separate. Herman is rated an adequate grappler and an adequate striker with a proven knack for sinking in a submission, but he is the man passed over, and only reluctantly.
StrengthSubmission-minded veteran who has shown he can lock up a Kimura.
StrengthRing-savvy, experience-driven instincts in awkward moments.
WeaknessLong layoff and low activity at this stage of his career.
WeaknessNo longer in his prime years.
